Community & Adult Programs
We offer a variety of programming for adults throughout the year. We focus on outdoor skills and exploration, as well as custom designed professional development.
Our mission is to engage children, youth, adults and families in the great outdoors! That is just what we are doing by providing skills and gear to get you and your whole family enjoying what the outdoors has to offer!
We are now offering evening adult workshops focused on wilderness survival techniques and naturalist skills. Our Wednesday evening program for adults will focus on core outdoor survival skills: Water, Fire, Shelter, Food and Awareness.
Come out and learn how to start a survival fire, how to light a fire using flint, make a water collector out of white pine bark, sip freshly brewed white pine tea, and learn the basics of making a debris shelter.
This winter we are offering the gear to bring your friends/family on a wonderful outing – cross country ski on Camp Ketcha’s 107 beautiful acres in Scarborough, Maine.
You can bring your friends, your family or your boy scout/girl scout troop! You can traverse our network of trails for the morning or afternoon. Take advantage of a sunny weekend with snow on the ground and our low-cost community rentals!
As a youth serving organization, we take great pride in being able to offer professional development workshops for professionals within the field. We look forward to hosting Jen Stanchfield again this coming fall.
