Because we always put student safety first at Camp Ketcha, all students participating in horsemanship activities are required to wear an approved safety helmet designed for horseback riding and boots or shoes with a small heel. If students do not have a helmet of their own, we have several available which students may borrow. We also have some appropriate footwear available for student use, but sizes are limited so please call the barn to find out what is available.
REGISTRATION & POLICIESTo register now, you may download and complete the following three forms: Registration Form, Health History Form & Equine Release Form. You may fax or mail your registration forms with full payment to secure your child's spot. Please note that an Annual Membership Fee of $20 is required to register for all programs.
Riders must wear long pants and boots with a 1" – 1 1/2" heel in all Riding and Horsemanship Programs. All programs are “rain or shine” and will include a combination of indoor and outdoor activities depending on the weather each session. We will take advantage of all opportunities to ride in our riding ring or on our trails.
We can also arrange for private riding lessons, birthday parties, and private group riding programs or lessons. Contact Jessie Bosse, Equestrian Program Director, at jbosse@campketcha.org for more information or stop by our Scarborough Maine facility. |
