ROPE & ROCK

Designed for adventurous campers who enjoy our ropes course, they work through team and individual challenges on high and low ropes, learn knot tying and how to belay fellow campers, review equipment safety and maintenance and improve teamwork and communication skills. Campers visit the Maine Rock Gym to climb.
OCEAN EXPLORERS

Tidepools, ocean life, sea creatures and more! Explore local beaches, learn about marine mammals and visit the University of New England Marine Science Center.

Archery, riflery and paintball are all included in this fun and exciting camp. Campers will go offsite for a paintball adventure in Gorham, visit Scarborough Rod & Gun Club for a Weaponcraft class and practice shooting on target at our archery range. |

OUTDOOR SURVIVAL CAMP

Learn outdoor survival skills, make shelters that will withstand inclement weather, learn about edible plants, tracking and safety skills. Includes one overnight at Camp Ketcha.
PEDAL & PADDLE
July 15-19 /Cost: $310
Limited to 12
Designed to expand your camper’s cycling and canoeing skills. Campers bring their own bikes and learn basic bicycle mechanics and maintenance and then explore woods, fields and trails on their bikes. They also learn to steer and paddle a canoe around the pond.
Campers take trips off-site to paddle local waterways and bike local trails. They need their own mountain bikes, helmets, and elbow and knee-pads. Camp Ketcha provides all canoeing equipment.
NOTE: No bikes are allowed on the buses. Bikes may be dropped off on Monday and picked up Friday afternoon.
WORLD OF WATER — TWO OFFERINGS!
July 8-12/ August 5-9/Cost: $320

Designed for campers who love being in the water. Campers will spend two mornings snorkeling with Paul Rollins, professional dive instructor. The first day will be instruction on using fins, goggles and snorkels. The second day will be spent snorkeling in our pond and pool. Campers will spend one day at a local water park, explore beaches and spend time on our property exploring the Scarborough Marsh. Campers will also learn about the water cycle, water resources and water pollution. |
