After School Programs

After School Offered School Year Round. Take the bus right to Camp Ketcha!

Monday-Friday until 6pm. Only need care for a couple days a week? We are flexible and will work with you. More info on the right side of the page!

No School? We have you covered

Come play outside in the snow, make s’mores, play games, arts and crafts and more! Early care and late care available.

If your town has a snow day, please email the night before, or morning of to check for availability of coverage.

New! After School Farm Adventure!

Join us each Wednesday from 4:00-5:30 pm at CK Equestrian for a look into farming and why its such a unique and challenging job. Weekly topics may include:

  • Different types of farms
  • Harvesting
  • Canning/CookingFarm-Animals (1)
  • Making butter and cheese
  • Chickens and Eggs
  • Farm equipment demonstrations
  • Goats and goat breeds

Registration is limited. $12.00 for regularly scheduled after-school children (as an add-on), or per session for $20.00 each Wednesday. Call CK Equestrian at 883-8977 x110 for more information.


Fall and Spring Horsemanship

Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-6:00 pm during the Spring and Fall we offer after school horsemanship. This program includes a half hour private riding lesson and other fun horse related activities including:

  • Horse care
  • Grooming
  • Tacking up
  • Barn chores
  • Horse crafts
    And much more!

Winter Unmounted Horsemanship

Join the CK Equestrian instructors every Tuesdays starting in February from 4:30-6:00 pm. This program is designed for the avid horse lover that wants to expand their horse knowledge. Includes 45 minutes down at the barn getting hands on experience and 45 minutes at the main building doing learning activities and watching informational videos. Some topics covered include:

  • Horse anatomy and conformation
  • Breed recognition
  • Horse behavior
  • Equine first aid
  • Riding disciplines
