After School Monday’s Ski/Ride Program

headerCamp Ketcha’s After School Ski and Ride Program

Camp Ketcha is proud to announce the launch of a new after school ski and ride program for youth in the Southern Maine area. This a great opportunity to ski with friends, practice your skiing, and get active during the long snowy winter.

On Monday afternoons in January and February, our program director Sam and one other staff member will be taking a small group (maximum 12) of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students on the Camp Ketcha mini bus to Shawnee Peak for night skiing.  Kids from all towns are welcome, but the pick-up location will be at Wentworth Middle School in Scarborough at 3:00pm. Students will be required to ski with a buddy, and have required check-in time with Sam or other staff at the designated meeting area in the lodge.

The pick-up location is at Wentworth School, but this does not limit the program to only students that go to Wentworth. This is just the pickup and drop off location to make things more convenient for local families. We welcome all youth from Southern Maine to join our ski program!
